Cherry Blossom Trees to Chiangmai・・・Japanese Garden Project ①
We went to visit Chiangmai in Thailand!
We helped with the project called, ‘Japanese Garden Project’, which was aimed to donate a Japanese garden in Chiangmai in order to commemorate the 130th anniversary of amity between Thailand and Japan.
Those who gathered by the call of Mr. Masao Sawai, who was from Takaoka in Toyama Prefecture, contributed to the construction of the Japanese garden with many stone lanterns. This project was completed by the donation of ‘Youkou Sakura’, a kind of cherry blossom tree which blooms even in extreme climates, bled by Mr. Terumi Takaoka from Ehime Prefecture.
In addition to this collaboration, an orchestrated cooperation by Chiangmai City, the Japanese Consulate General in Chiangmai, many local organizations and schools together made this Japanese garden project happen at BAAN DEN HEALTH PARK in Chiangmai!
The name of the garden is, ‘絆園-KIZUNA GARDEN’！
It makes you wonder if you are in Chiangmai because it is so Japanese!
And… there it is, our company name, TNK Inc. is engraved there !!
We humbly present the picture … enlarged picture to read the names (^o^;）
There you go. It is heart-moving to see our company name remain in monuments like this.
Lastly, the metal plate commemorating the project and the names of all supporters was made!
