Inspection at MANUFACTURING EXPO 2017

Following on the day before yesterday, I visited the following 7 booths at the MANUFACTURING EXPO 2017.

3. ASSEMBLY & AUTOMATION 2017
4. COMPONENTS & SUBCONTRACTING 2017
5. SURFACE & COATINGS 2017
6. NEPCON THAILAND 2017
7. Mfair: Bangkok Manufacturing Business Meeting 2017

It took almost all day at the Mfair the other day, so I looked around 6 other booths today.

There were a lot of people, and the place was really crowded.

This expo was smaller in scale than the upcoming Thai MetalEx in November, but it was rather a wholesome expo full of exhibitions.

As for material-related booths, there were a number of Chinese companies. It used to be full of Japanese companies in the expo’s in Thailand, but it looks as though China is going to grow in the future. It really came home to me this time, unless we do better, Chinese power was going to be a big menace to us Japanese companies in the future.

At any rate, we are content that we were able to gather necessary information and acquired some business deals as well.
