An authentic ‘Hinabe (Chinese hot pot)’ in Shanghai
A report from the Sales Planning Department.
We flew over to Shanghai from Bangkok.
Ms. Cao Xiaoyan is living in Shanghai to support TNK Inc. as far as Chinese business is concerned.
We went to have Chinese ‘Hinabe (hot pot)’ after our business meeting.
We went there because our rookie, Mr. Ito, has never had an authentic ‘Hinabe’…
We thought it would be another important job to really know what it really means ‘hot’ in the Chinese term (giggle giggle).
The ‘Hinabe’ this time is Chongqing’s version, so it is extremely hot, but delicious !
We used sesami dipping oil to ease hotness this time.
We managed to eat by sweating and mumbling ‘boy, it’s hot!’, finally to finish the pot. And we bought some retort-pouch version of soup stock because we crave for this hotness every now and then.
Well…
I just realized I’ve only been writing about food in both Thailand and China.
Please believe me when I say this, ‘I’m doing my work too!’.
It’s almost the end of our 2-weeks-overseas-business-trip this time. We will be coming home to Komatsu airport on the 8th of April.
The next mission is a trip to Nagoya next week!
