Beach cleaning at Yaezu-hama beach（Toyama City）
Through ‘Toyama Seisho-kai’, a group of young entrepreneurs in Toyama, we are cleaning the beach every year.
We are doing this activity every year with the hope that we could make some contributions to protect our beautiful ocean of Toyama Prefecture.

02. Our attempt to make international contributions
Cherry blossom trees donation in Chiang-mai, Thailand
We participated in the project to build a Japanese garden in Chiang-mai, Thailand, commemorating the 130th anniversary of Thai-Japan Amity Treaty.
Volunteers, who were called upon by Mr. Masao Sawai, made the donation for the construction of the Japanese garden and the stone lanterns to decorate the garden, and travelled all the way from Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, to attend the ceremony.
By the cooperation of the City of Chiang-mai, the Japanese Consulate in Chiang-mai, schools, and other organizations, “KIZUNA” Garden was completed in the city of Chiang-mai.

Planted Cherry Blossom Trees (Youkou) in Chiang-mai.
‘KIZUNA’ Garden was constructed in commemoration for the 130th anniversary of Thai-Japan Amity Treaty.
We have donated some cherry blossom nursery trees named ‘Youkou’, which can be exuberant in warmer climate in the garden. ‘Youkou’ was breed-improved by Mr. Terumi Takaoka of Ehime Prefecture.

Made a donation of stationery to the children of mountain tribes.
We visited a school of mountain tribes which is located in the suburb of Chiang-mai. Stationery was donated to the students there by Mr. Yotsui (Chairman of Yotsui Co., Ltd.)
There were about 900 students are living in this boarding school, away from their parents, but they were all refined and greeted us with high respect and gratitude.
